I'm sure some of you feel that when you practice Lesson 1, you tend to fly to the left, and even now I sometimes find myself in that situation.
In such a case, what is actually causing the error is
It is often not the movement of Lesson 1, but the backswing and takeback that create the foundation.
At times like this, I am conscious of and practicing this lesson ③ as my own correction method.
If you can do this, you can perform everything from half swing to full top with the same feeling, and anyone can easily reproduce certain points that are important in the backswing.
In YouTube lesson videos, various people say various things about how to perform the backswing, but you can ignore all of that .

① Those who have a stiff body and cannot rotate the backswing
This backswing is a movement that effectively utilizes the structure of the body to the extent that you don't want to rotate your body, but it rotates on its own, so there is no need to try to rotate your body at all, and it is the "initial movement" of the backswing. If you do this, your body will rotate on its own, so this method is highly recommended for people with stiff bodies.
After the initial movement, just stop at any position, half swing width, quarter swing width, or full top☝️
② Those who are worried about overswing
For those who are worried about overswing, this is also due to the structure of the body. Once you reach a certain area, your body's rotation will naturally "lock" and you will not be able to advance any further, so the top position will be sharp. It's fixed, so I recommend it.
(However, I don't think there is any need to cure overswing separately.)
③For those who are having trouble knowing how to get to the top
This backswing can be smoothly raised to the top with just one movement, so there is no need to think about various difficult things, so it is recommended for those who don't know how to raise it.The only point is the "initial movement". ❗️Once you move it, it will go up automatically.
④ Those who are having trouble with “Sway”
The main cause of sway is that you lose your balance by forcing your body to turn.This means that if you can make a backswing without forcing your body to turn, sway can be cured. can

It is also recommended for those who have trouble with sway, as you can rise to the top on your own without trying to turn your body just by concentrating on moving your arms.
